Who we are
Isabel Pabo is an Italian handmade brand, created by the Apulian fashion designer Palumbo Dalila.
Dalila Palumbo, born in 1993, studied at the Accademia del Lusso, graduating with top marks. In 2013, while still a freshman, she founded her own tailoring brand, ISABEL PABO.
From the consultation, to the choice of fabrics, from the sketch to the creation of the dress, Dalila begins, step by step, to fulfill the dreams and requests of her first clients.
In 2015 she represented Italian haute couture during “THE WORLD FEDERATION OF MASTER TAILORS” in Tampere and in 2017 in Taipei, reaching the podium in both years.
In 2015 he joined the National Academy of Tailors in Rome, as a Junior Academic Member.
She has won several national and international competitions such as the “Manichino d'Oro” in 2017, a competition that rewards the best Italian dressmaker in the field of women's tailoring.
In 2018 she was awarded as best emerging Italian designer in Split, Croatia, during the “My Global Fashion Awards”.
In 2020, the Honorary Committee of the Evento Donna Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism, the Lazio region and Rome, the capital, proposes the awarding of the “Evento Donna International Award” at the Protomoteca hall in the Campidoglio in Rome for social commitment during the covid-19 emergency.
In December 2022, he opens his new Maison in Molfetta.

To design a dress, the first important phase is the consultancy.
Phase in which customers describe their needs and desires.
Every piece of information is essential to be able to design the sketch, choose the fabric and make the most of every detail.
The creation of the paper pattern is the next step after approving the sketch and choosing the fabric. In fact, the maison has a wide selection of fine fabrics available to customers.
Then we move on to taking measurements, creating the pattern and then to the assembly and finishing part of the garment.
Subsequently, each tiny application is meticulously sewn by hand, stitch by stitch.
Tailor-made clothes, when designed right, have the power to make the most of the wearer.
